In this photo I was waiting for Brookie to finish making her butterfly so I could make mine. When it was my turn I made a green, yellow, orange and red butterfly. When you were done making your butterfly you swiped up and you would see it on the screen.

Museumn Trip Term 2

In this photo this dude with a Georgie jumper was teaching us about Maori Traditions. We were learning how to say hands, legs, arms, heart and spine in Maori. Next we went into this wharenui.   We made these x's with a buddy.  My buddy was Monique. I learnt how to make Maori patterns.

My ANZAC sensory poem

 My ANZAC Sensory Poem

When I entered the war, I could see people's hair blowing onto their faces due to the wind. Around me was fog, rocks and super tall grass. When I got further into the war, I could hear the waves of wind drifting past my ears. The awful smell of the rotting body vapour from the night before, got me feeling sick in the stomach... I could taste the rotting smell from the bodies in the air I’m breathing, it gave me a headache. By the time it was the middle of the day, I felt sick and distraught. I really started to regret this decision . . . I continued on, though I was feeling disgustingly sick, I could sense somebody's presence from behind me, I was far too scared to turn around. I froze, didn’t dare to move. I stood there, afraid. When I got the courage to turn around, all I saw were rotting bodies from the day before. I felt deeply sorry for these men.

What about their families? I wondered. Who will tell their families? It was so quiet, no sound, just the aerie, cold feeling of death... Then, I woke up from a deep sleep, It was all just a dream.

Today we had mufti (by today I mean, Thursday 15 April 2021). We had to bring a gold coin donation in order to wear mufti, we did Just Dance at the beginning of class. Then a lady came to tell us about nature and how we shouldn't litter, she was from Kaitiaki Kids. From that, I learnt that there is more rubbish then Autumn related things.  But then we made ''season sticks''. After that it was morning tea, then playtime I walked and talked with Selina. Then the bell went and we continued designing our sticks when we were done (some weren't done) then Mr. Sok picked a winner to get points. Now were doing blogging.

 (Please don't look at me)

Hello, as you know I'm Luane' today we made ANZAC cookies. We made them using rolled oats, coconut shreads, sugar, golden syrup, and flour.

It tasted DELICIOUS it was creamy and soft in the middle and squishy at the top.

It smelt like the golden syrup, tasty.

Maritime Museum Trip

Maritime Museum

*last week I think* (Monday) we went to the Maritime

Museum on a bus. We had an instructor named Lee,

he showed us around and we saw a movie, it was about

maori people on a boat. After that we went to the gallery.

I saw a lot of wakas, I also saw a lot of statues, there was

an old lady statue and it freaked me out. I thought it was a

real person. It was in front of a room where the door closed

a bit and it felt like the room was shaking. After that we

went upstairs and saw the workshop, it was very cool.

We also saw a house model of a shop-house thing.

There was also a picture on the ‘’Maritime Museum photos’’

of Mr.Sok next to the guy that was talking to us, and Mr.Sok

looks like him.
